Mobile apps

Your business on their home screen.

Two very different reasons to want an app. If you run a local business, your customers want to book, order and collect rewards from their phone: that’s the Branded App, an add-on to any plan. If you have a brand-new app idea and no technical background, that’s the custom build: you bring the idea, I take it all the way to the app stores, and you own it.

Pricing

Add to any plan for $149/month + $999 setup. New app idea: fixed-price build from $12,000

Who it’s for

  • Restaurants, coffee shops and food trucks with regulars who order again and again
  • Salons, gyms, studios and clinics with members and repeat appointments
  • Service businesses that want customers to request a job and track it from their phone
  • Anyone with an app idea who wants it built properly, with a fixed price

What’s included

Branded App (add-on, $149/month + $999 setup)

  • iPhone and Android app with your name, logo and colours
  • Booking or ordering, a menu or service list, loyalty or rewards card
  • Push notifications for offers, reminders and “ready for pickup”
  • Connected to your website and owner dashboard, so there’s one list of customers
  • Store submission handled, and yearly iOS and Android updates included

Bring your app idea to life (from $12,000)

  • For people with an idea and no way to build it themselves
  • A $1,500 Discovery Sprint turns the idea into a screen-by-screen plan and a fixed quote
  • Customer accounts, sign-in, profiles and payments
  • Your own database and an admin dashboard to run it
  • Automated tests on real devices before every release
  • You own the app and the code once it’s paid for

Paid directly by you, not marked up

  • Apple and Google developer accounts ($99/year and $25 once). They’re set up in your business’s name and you pay them directly.
  • Card processing fees on payments taken in the app. Those are charged by Stripe to your account.

How it goes

  1. 01

    Free call

What should the app do for your customers, and what should it do for you?

  2. 02

    Scope and quote

A short written plan: screens, features and a fixed price. For a bigger idea, a $1,500 Discovery Sprint that comes off the build.

  3. 03

    Build and test

You try it on your own phone before launch. Changes are expected and built in.

  4. 04

    Publish and keep current

I handle both app stores, then keep the app working as phones and stores change.

Questions people ask

Why is the branded app monthly?

Because apps aren’t finished when they launch. Apple and Google change their rules every year, and an app that isn’t maintained gets removed from the stores. The add-on covers that, along with hosting and fixes, for one predictable price, and it’s month to month like the plan it sits on.

I have an app idea but I’m not technical. Where do I start?

With the free call, then a $1,500 Discovery Sprint: two working sessions that turn the idea into a screen-by-screen plan for the first version and a fixed quote. You don’t need to know anything about code or app stores. If the honest answer is that your idea works better as a website, I’ll tell you that before you spend real money.

Can I turn the branded app into something I own?

Yes. If you later want to own the app outright, the setup fee you paid counts toward a custom build.

Do I need an app or is a website enough?

Often a website with online booking is enough. An app earns its keep when customers come back often: ordering, memberships, loyalty, repeat appointments. I’ll tell you honestly on the call.

Tell me what you wish ran itself.

A free 30-minute call. You describe the problem, I tell you honestly what it would take and what it would cost.
